The finished mosaic. I have added a blue wall tile to finish out the edges. Grout color was somewhat of a dilemma. Normally, I like any color grout as long as it's black, but I thought that putting a black grout next to black lines would give them more weight than I wanted. It dawned on me that the her body, hair and the beach would work real well with a brown grout, whereas the water, the sky, and her wrap would look good in blue. Then what would you do with the edges of the piece, brown on the brown parts and blue on the blue parts? But what about where the beach and sky meet? It started to get real complicated real fast. I finally decided to go with a single neutral that would work with the entire piece, a darkish gray.
